Marion van Caracal was flexible, thoughtful and delivered a well-organized three-week family trip (7 people, three generations) tailored. Last-minute adjustments were no problem. Beautiful safaris, incredibly seen (from lions to hippos and elephants, and from leopards and crocodiles to gnu migration), with Ben as the perfect Guide, someone with a lot of knowledge and heart for nature! We started with a lovely lodge in Moshi to acclimatise, had excellent tented camps on the way from Kilimanjaro to the Mara River and we ended up on Zanzibar again in a lovely lodge.  Verified An unforgettable journey! We had an unforgettable trip, arranged by Caracal Tours&Safari's. The game drives were fantastic. Ben was our driver and knows the area perfectly. Respect for how drives through the parks with his steering skills and explains and has answers to all questions. The locations where we stayed were fantastic, each even more beautiful than the other. Sleeping with roaring lions in the background, friendly people and delicious food. Also for our stay on Zanzibar Marion had booked a beautiful Resort.  Verified For Tanzania the best touroperator and guide you can have!!!! Caracal Tours did an awsome job arranging our safaritrip. We had a pleasant and experienced driver and we had excellent accommodations during our trip! Our driver gave us great views and a lot of information/backgrounds about the animals and culture.  Verified Great holiday! We had an unforgettable trip with Caracal! Beforehand it was very nice to plan and discuss everything with Marion. You notice that they have a lot of experience in planning trips, yet it remains very personal. Once we arrived in Tanzania we were picked up by Ben and he showed us the most beautiful things for more than 2 weeks. We have been to different parks and have seen a lot of animals. Ben also has plenty to say for every animal! We also have huge respect for Ben's driving skills, through the bumpiest roads and paths he drives easily and comfortably and can also spot animals at the same time. We enjoyed all the safaris and then a few days of rest on Zanzibar. Highly recommended to book your holiday to Tanzania through Caracal!

 Verified The perfect trip through Tanzania and Zanzibar! Caracal organized the most beautiful trip for our family holiday. It was the perfect combination of multiple safari’s and stays at lovely lodges or resorts and we finished the holiday with a relaxed stay on Zanzibar. Our guide Ben was so knowledgable and could tell us everything about the country and the animals we saw. He managed to show us all beautiful animals the Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Manyara and Tarangire had to offer. But most important, we had so much fun!! Ben, thank you for the unforgettable trip.  Verified Caracal planned our dream holiday: trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro, a 10-day-Safari, one week on Zanzibar. We fully recommend! We booked a five week trip with Caracal incl. trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro, a 10-day-safari and one week on Zanzibar. The whole holiday exceeded all expectations, creating the holiday we dreamed about. During the planning process all our requests were met and every single question was answered quickly and every problem during the trip was handled very professionally. We hiked Kili via the Machame route which was a great recommendation and an experience we will never forget. Our guides, James and Rama, were very experienced and deserve a big thank you for pushing us to the peak! The whole team was working together perfectly, so we didn't have to worry about anything but the challenge of the hike. Everything was taken care of and we always had the best space for our tent and meals according to our needs. We wouldn't have made it to the peak without our mountain-family. The route for the safari was planned perfectly starting at Arusha NP and Lake Manyara through Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and ending in Tarangire NP. The selected lodges were charming and very well picked. We were fortunate enough to have Ben as our safari guide. He is a real expert and passionate guide who has a lot to tell about wildlife and Tanzania in general. Thanks to his expertise we saw a lot of different animals in various scenarios, including the big 5. Every day held a new, surprising moment for us and we felt very well cared for. For our last week on Zanzibar they picked a beautiful lodge in Jambiani where we had a very relaxing week. It was raining the first days there. This made them really worried about how we felt, so they really cared about every single thing. We could not recommend Caracal Tours & Safaris enough for a perfectly tailored adventure!
